This July, I return for my eighteenth season as solo flutist of the Pittsburgh New Music Ensemble. This summer, we present three programs at the City Theatre in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, starting with "A Lime Green Tour de Force" on Friday and Saturday, July 12th and 13th featuring Nico Muhly's Doublespeak, Guillame Connesson's Techno Parade, and Christopher Cerrone's Why Was I Born Between Mirrors? The season continues with "Why I Chose the Life of an Artist" on Friday and Saturday, July 19th and 20th featuring Elainie Lillios's Sleep's Undulating Tide, and concludes on Wednesday, July 24th at 7:00 PM with a "Binaural Workshop" with composer Steven Bryant. All Friday and Saturday performances are at 8:00 PM, and tickets are available for $25 ($20 for seniors, $10 for students, or $50 for a season subscription to three events). As always "first limers" (first-time concert attendees) receive free admission!
